IN ITALY
Our cashmere yarn is spun in Italy by Carriagi, one of the most renowned cashmere producers for quality, sustainability and transparency. Cariaggi is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, meaning the yarn in your sweater meets international standards for safety and freedom from harmful chemicals (yuck). Once our cashmere yarn is spun, it is then woven into garments in Scotland by family-owned factory, Johnstons of Elgin, where they have been making textiles for over 200 years.

Our silk is inherently biodegradable, lightweight and able to both wick away moisture and provide heat, making it a perfect option from summer through winter. Unlike synthetic fabrics, which take centuries to break down, silk is natural, returning to the earth graciously and seamlessly. It wears just as well.
